A Historic Night!

As much as I would have liked to see Hillary Clinton win the Democratic nomination for President, I have to say that I will be proud to vote for Barack Obama come November and I'm DAMN proud of my political party for making history this week by nominating the first African-American to be our candidate.
I even made Connor stay up and watch his speech because I truly feel that it is a momentous occasion. Maybe there is hope for our country.

No How, No Way, No McCain!

Kristina, I agree 100%. I enjoyed the DNC so much this year. I teared up during Michelle's speech. Barack has mesmerized me and my vision for our country ever since I saw him at Hilton Coliseum in early 2007 right after he announced his candidacy. I, too, believe this is a special moment.

TOTALLY AGREE! I am SOOOOO excited about this election! Cannot WAIT for a change in Washington. We have been held hostage TOO LONG. I just hope we as a country don't squander this opportunity for real change.

And don't get me started about the running mate news of the weekend...
