All of you will find this extrememly funny. The first morning of school was my flex day so I was home to see Connor off to the bus stop. Had my camera out and of course, he started fussing about me taking pictures, I said "Tough" I'm doing it anyway and started snapping away. I had him out back on the deck, in front of the house and started to follow him down the street to the bus stop (much to his embarassment), I ran into a neighbor who's son was also starting 7th grade and stopped to talk to her and snapped a few shots of Tanner and Connor together. Connor would NOT let me within 30 feet of the bus stop and I thought better of pushing it. I had enough pictures......well, an hour or so later when I opened the camera to take the smart media card out of the camera an upload to the computer, I discovered that there was NO smart media card in the camera and the 15-20 pictures I took, I didn't take....LOL...
So, once Connor returned school from school and I shared with him what I did, he was none to happy to have to recreate the photo opportunity....LOL....

Oops! That sounds like a fun way to torture the kiddos some time.
Damnit, and OOPS! I am SO freaking glad our camera will not allow us to do this:) No card, no take pics!

Maybe now would be a good time to do what Jen McWhirt did, and take him to the school at night so you can get pics w/out him being completely embarrassed LOL.

It's funny...we went through a LONG period of Bailey not wanting her picture taken anywhere, for any reason (of course, Crazed Scrapbooking Mom does it anyway!). But now that she's older, she and her friends are really starting to value having photos taken. I think they're realizing that their HS years are fleeting and they will want the pics down the road. CRAZY SCRAPBOOKING MOM IS VINDICATED!! lol
